²⁰ Indeed I tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees and experts in the law, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.

Sinful Anger

²¹ “You have heard that it was said to people long ago, ‘You shall not murder,^[a] and whoever murders will be subject to judgment.’ ²² But I tell you that everyone who is angry with his brother without a cause^[b] will be subject to judgment, and whoever says to his brother, ‘Raca,’^[c] will have to answer to the Sanhedrin. But whoever says, ‘You fool!’ will be in danger of hell^[d] fire.
